Matthew McConaughey has taken a moment to articulate up rumors that he secretly got a pilus transplant, after intense speculation about his locks.

The Dallas Buyers Club star, 52, has been a staple of the big screen for more than two decades – only experienced hair loss early on in his career.

He later shaved his head in a bid to go a 'fresh start', something he discussed in his 2020 memoir, Greenlights, merely has sparked speculation over how his locks have stayed so luscious in the years since.

Chatting to LADBible in a new interview, the Oscar winner quashed all the chatter, and explained that his hair growth has been a 'great mystery'.

'I go this topical ointment and I rub information technology into my scalp, in one case a day for 10 minutes,' he told the publication. 'I was fully committed, I was fully committed to it – no Propecia, no zilch, information technology was merely manual labor.

'All I can tell you lot is it came back. I accept more hair now than I had in 1999.'

Matthew said that his hair loss was noticeable in some of his older work, including The Hymeneals Planner, in 2001, aslope Jennifer Lopez.

'I got a flick: turn of the millennium party in 2000 in Jamaica, I was looking downward laughing and there was a baseball game-sized bald spot on the height of my caput,' he continued.

Of class, he is still sticking to his routine, adding: 'I'thousand not gonna quit to run across if like, "Oh, do I need to practise it anymore?" I'k not taking that chance.'

He said that he was 'admittedly' considering throwing his chapeau into the ring for the position last yr, suggesting that he can brand a difference.

Notwithstanding, casting lite on his political aspirations last November, Matthew vowed that it is a path that he is 'choosing non to take' – at the moment.

'It'south a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I am choosing not to take at this moment,' he said.

'I am going to go along to piece of work and invest the bounty I have by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses and foundations that I believe are leaders, establishments that I believe are creating pathways for people to succeed in life.

'Organisations that have a mission to serve and build trust, while also generating prosperity. That'south the American dream.'

Matthew ended the video: 'The proficient ones can help the states get to where we need to go. But let's be clear: They can't do anything for us unless nosotros choose to do for ourselves.
